My corner of Substack has been busy, with 2 collaborations (
& ) both were fascinating and very enjoyable. Part 2 of both collaborations will be posted next week. used the “oak tree and the moon” for a lovely piece of poetry. And a “thank letter” formed part of multiple authors collaboration from last Saturday.My wanderings have been hugely enjoyable, in Suffolk, England the signs of an early autumn are becoming more apparent, masses of berries and foliage on trees and shrubs beginning to show signs of autumn colours.

Chinese lanterns seed heads are showing their wonderful autumn colours.
This photograph was part of this month’s “shallow distance of focus” challenge
. I now want to scale this up, to a landscape setting.Shades of green and shadows. The River Gipping at just after sunrise.

The local model boat club had its open day last weekend, the radio controlled yachts was a more relaxed moment.
After a heavy night of rain, lots of photographs with water droplets followed.

As the hollyhock flowering season comes to an end, this pollen adorned cobweb caught my attention.
