A nearly full moon, with snow frosted trees.
The evening of the fifth of January had a lovely red infused sunset.
The following morning a fiery sunrise…
The swan had found a pool of thawed water and was not prepared to share it with her noisy neighbours. The snowy conditions only lasted forty eight hours, but the freezing temperatures lasted until the following weekend.
Looking towards the main lake.
Spiders construct amazing webs, I was surprised to discover this web on a monkey puzzle tree.
The early morning sunlight illuminated a vase of Tulips sitting on the dinner table.
The catkins of the purple leaved hazelnut bush are coming into bloom.
I was surprised to see a Scottish thistle in bloom in the middle of January.
Turkey Tail fungus on a log, nestled in a bed of sweet chestnut leaves.
Harts Tongue Ferns growing on the Victorian walls of an underpass.
