Wandering Discoveries
3/11/25 to 17/11/25
Digital abstract explorations - this is one of four images I created using the “painting style of Pointillism”. All of the images are the same with the exception of the palette of colours used. What do you see within the image(s)?
Autumn is progressing rapidly in my corner of Suffolk. Tree leaves are dropping, branches are becoming more prominent. And fungi, toadstools, mushrooms and slimes are becoming visible.
Gill Moon Photography prompt is woodland images, the photograph below is one of those I submitted…..
Aminus3 Photography prompt this week is “strange(r). I experience the psychological phenomenon called pareidolia, my brain finds human-like patterns in random things. My photographs included the following
The Beaver full-moon has been, it was of course cloudy where I live, but that created other opportunities.
Last weekend, the named Storm Claudia, made her presence known, a very wet forty eight hours. The autumn foliage seemed to glow!
Another photograph I took during Storm Claudia was of the humpback bridges and the surrounding landscape. Hawks Mill was behind me and providing shelter.
A autumnal view of the river, with a hint of mist in the background.
We have been to have a couple of misty mornings. A stinging nettle can be of interest with a water droplet!
An interesting spiders web on a thistle, the glistening water droplets caught my attention.
A beautiful sunset and dusk.
A lovely footpath, historically this was a drovers route, going back to the 14th / 15th centuries.
Thank you for your continued support, responses, messages and restacks. It’s greatly appreciated, and I really enjoy sharing photographs from my wanders. 🙏

You do have an eye for the extraordinary. Amazing photos!
I love these frames every one.
They are each uniquely you.
Your eye never ceases to delight my heart, Mark.
I don’t even know if I can pick a singular favorite.
What I will be doing is looking at this portfolio many times though.
Each scene does my heart good to study.
